Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary: £26,000 £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and inspection of in-house manufactured equipment. This hands-on role will contribute to production efficiency and high-quality standards across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Connect wiring harnesses, perform small connector crimping and soldering
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, including small tubing and fittings
Support improvements to product assembly through new methods and techniques
Assist production technicians with fault-finding
Report slow processes and quality concerns to line management
Manage workload to meet production targets

Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies
Experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good technical understanding of materials
Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
