Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role assembling and inspecting in-house manufactured equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Connect wiring harnesses, crimp, and solder components
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts, including tubing and fittings
- Support fault diagnosis and resolve assembly issues
- Report quality concerns and production issues
- Work to production targets and deadlines
- Assist with improving assembly processes
Experience:
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly
- Strong wiring, soldering, and crimping experience
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good technical understanding of materials and components
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
