Debach an Ipswich based Logistics & Warehousing company, needed a talented Stock Controller to come into their team hitting the ground running, with added onus of online account management. With stock control being an area that can be overlooked when it is working well, it was crucial I got this match right , as getting it wrong can cause all manner of chaos!

 

Due to my extensive knowledge of working with Manufacturing and Engineering organisations I was able to challenge the job description issued and ask probing questions to ensure I fully gained a true understanding of their future company needs, person specification, company culture and the intricacies of the job in hand.

 

For this particular role I supplied a shortlist of three candidates to my contact, this shortlist was whittled down from 154 potential candidates that came up from our CRM database and a further 90 that applied via my Job board adverts and social media..

 

I reduced my in house CV selection down to 12 of which I submitted 3 qualified CV’s for their consideration and out of those three great candidates supplied in the shortlist, one was interviewed and was offered the job. The candidate that was offered had been with his previous company for over ten years and had all the necessary exposure and experience that was duly needed for a quick integration.

 

As with a lot of our clients, due to Covid 19, an initial interview was setup and held though Microsoft Teams with a final interview being face to face and on site. This time round my candidate and client were well versed with Microsoft Teams, however this is not always the case, we can offer advice and support if the platform has not been used before.
