Job Title: Paint Sprayer
Location: Haverhill
Salary: Competitive.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join a manufacturing company in Haverhill! The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces using spray equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards.

This client is a fantastic local employer, growing at a fast rate with a busy order book. You'd be working alongside an experienced passionate supervisor, as well as supported by an inspiring Production Manager whose approach to management and production is positive, refreshing, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and other necessary preparation methods.
  • Mix and match paint to achieve desired colors and consistencies.
  • Operate spray painting equipment, including airless spray guns, HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) systems, and conventional spray guns.
  • Inspect surfaces after painting to ensure a smooth and uniform finish, making touch-ups as necessary.
  • Maintain spray equipment in good working order.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • To be able to work individually.

Experience:

  • Certification in spray painting is ideal
  • Being able to work independently, based on instruction and paint independently
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing painting.
  • Familiarity with advanced coatings and finishes.
  • Proficient in using various spray-painting equipment and techniques.
  • Proven experience as a paint sprayer is a must
  • This role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of the products and projects. The candidate must be comfortable working individually and be self-motivated.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract following an initial successful 12-week temp placement.
