We are partnering with a leading manufacturer of agriculture machinery in their search for an additional Welders to join the team. They have an enviable order book and offer prospective candidates real stability and long term career prospects.

Hours are 40 per week (8.00am to 5.00pm) with option for overtime of which there is plenty available (time and a quarter). Pay is constantly reviewed and very much above market rate. Up to £13.50 per hour starting rate available.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Carry out repairs /maintenance on machinery off sit, as and when required.
  • Jig and weld components into weld assemblies to a high standard.
  • Safely operate workshop equipment.
  • Receive work orders from the Team Leader and complete in a timely manner.
  • Clean down any workshop equipment and blow out welders each month.
  • Any other reasonable duties or tasks that need to be undertaken.

A suitable candidate:

  • Must have previous welding experience.
  • Will ideally have welding certificates or qualifications (desired not essential).
  • Will have their own transport or live locally to the area.
  • Has be able to work alone and with a team.
