Position: National Key Account Manager
Location: Field Based
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum + Car
Shifts: Monday to Friday

Job Overview:

As a National Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strategic relationships with key national accounts in the service industries, particularly in Data Security. You will be responsible for spearheading new business wins, upselling to existing clients, and ensuring high levels of customer retention. Leveraging your extensive sales and account management experience, you will develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand market presence.


• Targeted growth in-year revenue.
• Targeted increase in existing customer revenue.
• Targeted retained customers & corresponding in-year revenue.
• Targeted Non-Mandated/Preferred Supplier/Mandated.
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans leveraging market analysis, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
• Nurture and expand relationships with key national accounts, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Lead cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings, customer service, and market expansion.
• Utilise CRM and advanced data analytics tools to optimize sales processes and tailor customer engagement strategies.
• Swift adaptation to market changes and emerging trends, ensuring competitiveness and responsiveness to customer needs.


• Experience: Extensive sales and account management experience, particularly in national or key account roles within service industries/Data Security.
• Track Record: Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets with a strategic approach to business development and market penetration.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Technology Proficiency: High level of proficiency in CRM software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Achieved outstanding business unit results in customer retention and development to drive revenue.
• Ability to create urgency and align teams quickly around a worthy cause.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and apply methodologies in Sales Strategy
• Proven experience in business-to-business services with varying service/sales cycles.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Experience with CRM software to improve marketing efficiencies and drive prospect/customer engagement.
• Extensive experience in high-volume/high-transaction environments.
• Must be qualified to work in the UK and have a clean criminal record.
• Full clean driving license.
