We are excited to be working with a Leading Supplier within the Construction industry on the recruitment of a Transport Coordinator/Planner on a permanent basis. This role will see you providing efficient administrative & planning support to the internal teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in various office software applications.

Please note you will need to have previous experience in Transport and/or planning to be considered.
Duties include but are not limited to:
•Processing delivery requirements of customers, analyse and route vehicles accordingly
•Daily multi drop routing of vehicles across multiple depots
•Monitor vehicle progress throughout the day and make decisions on re-routing accordingly
•Communicate routing decisions to drivers including all necessary and accurate delivery information specific site/access restrictions etc.
•Organise deliveries according to customer demands
•Consider drivers working time regulations, tacho hours and any other restriction when routing vehicles
•Processing paperwork e.g. booking in deliveries, booking on courier orders, printing delivery
•Speaking to both sites (customers) and drivers to ensure the vehicles are offloaded in a timely manner
•Chasing drivers for ETA's and making customers and sales aware
Skills:
• Strong organisational skills to manage tasks effectively.
• Experience in planning/routing of vehicles.
• Proficiency in computerised systems for data entry and record keeping.
• Clerical abilities to handle paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Excellent phone etiquette when communicating with internal and external contacts.
