Position: Business Development Executive
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: £Competitive
Shifts: Mon-Fri

Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Executive is to grow the revenue opportunity pipeline for the European customer base. This role involves researching potential customers, pre-qualifying opportunities, and connecting them with the Sales Team. The ideal candidate will provocatively identify and follow up on leads, maintain the CRM system, and collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Team to maximize lead generation.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential customers aligned with our existing customer base.
• Initiate contact with potential customers through proactive outreach or responding to inquiries.
• Help prospects identify the right product for their application needs.
• Maintain the CRM system accurately with the customer pipeline, from lead to prospect quote.
• Move qualified leads through the pipeline and connect them with the Sales team.
• Present the Company's products and capabilities through various communication methods.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying potential needs and revenue growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team to maximize lead generation and prospect conversion.
• Continually develop and update product and application knowledge.
• Generate regular progress reports.
• Respond to change positively and handle other tasks and projects as required.

Skill set:

• Understanding of basic technical concepts for product selection and customer application.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and determined to grow revenue.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to take rejection, knock-backs, and move on with resilience.
• Friendly personality with good relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in using a variety of communication platforms such as email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Teams.
• Bonus - Bi-lingual English plus a fluent European Language, German, Spanish (preferred)
