Technical After-Sales Product Support Administrator

We are currently working with an Agriculture business on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, in their search for a Technical After Sales Product Support.

This is an integral role, supporting the Aftersales Manager with customer requests. This is also an exciting opportunity where you will be involved in Expos and shows both UK and abroad, representing the brand and supporting new sales!

The ideal candidate will have an excellent customer service approach and be able to work flexibly to suit the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will know about agriculture products with the ability to diagnose and fix the machines, additional training will be provided. As the first point of contact for existing customers, you will work closely with the sales department.

Duties will include:

• Produce reports and updates as and when required by the After Sales Manager
• Participate in internal/external meetings, as and when requested
• Process orders through ERP (progress Plus) and Stores for action
• Produce credit notes for spares returned and warranty items
• Upkeep and maintain databases. Ensure administrative tasks are completed correctly and promptly
• General duties to keep the service fleet reasonably clean and operational
• Provide support to the After Sales Manager to ensure high service levels are maintained to the satisfaction of customers
• Build positive working relationships with distributor and dealer staff
• Report issues back to the Engineering and/or Service departments to ensure the ongoing development of the company's products and systems
• Provide training to our Distributor/Dealer network
• The provision of out-of-hours phone support (ROTA-based every third weekend phone support)
• Attend shows, expos, UK or abroad - occasionally and on request

Sales

• To provide a full support service to both the UK and Export sales teams, as and when required
• If requested and planned, attend national and international exhibitions and, as part of the team, work to set up the company stand ensuring that our machines are presentable
• Work closely with the Sales teams to support dealer salesmen visiting farmer customers to assist in selling the company's products and systems, as and when required

Training

• Full product training will be provided
• Full Software Usage training will be provided
• Capabilities to deliver training materials
• As this is a support role within the Agricultural sector additional hours maybe required on occasions to complete cases

Experience Required

• Previous engineering experience/knowledge will be advantageous but not essential
• Aftersales customer focused experience

• Using of MS Office package is essential.

Additional Information:

• Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours (some additional hours will be required for events & expos)
• Permanent
• Salary - Circa £30,000 - Negotiable depending on experience
• Reporting to: Aftersales Manager
