Supply Chain Administrator
Newmarket

We are excited to be representing an established FMCG business who specialise in Food produce, in their search for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their small but friendly team!

Exporting goods to over 60 countries around the world, their operations are responsible for the importation, sale and distribution of products within the UK across a range of businesses from large retailers to smaller independent operators.

To support the Supply Chain department in managing and coordinating the activities of supply chain and partners, for all incoming and outgoing orders, your duties will include:

•Record and maintain accurate cold store records, receipts & dispatches, managing queries
•Monitor container movements inwards through Citrix Trade System
•Ensure all suppliers and contractors documents are accurate
•Cross match documents relating to shipments
•Liaising with the distribution coordinator re onward movement of goods
•Managing import paperwork daily, transferring data to internal computer systems and update arrival schedule
•Collate all shipping documentation & health certification, electronically file on our internal system for easy access as required
•Order processing, raising orders on a daily basis
•Any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested

Skills Required:

•Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner to meet timescales and deadlines
•Numerate with a high attention to detail
•Good knowledge of Excel, with good overall PC skills
•Good time management skills, ability to priortise
•Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and telephone manner

Additional Information:

•Hours - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
•Salary - £26,000-£28,000
•Location - Newmarket, Suffolk - Free parking on-site
•Holiday - 25 Days & bank holidays
