Position: Mobile Service Technician
Location: East Anglia (multiply locations)
Salary: £35-£40k + Car/Van
Shifts: Mon-Fri (Days)


Job Summary:

Join our clients as a Service Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' satisfaction by repairing machinery both in-house and on-site. From diagnosing issues to conducting repairs and providing exceptional customer service, you'll be at the forefront of our commitment to quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair customer machinery.

• Investigate and solve problems related to machine systems.

• Conduct machinery inspections.

• Perform machinery set-up and adjustments.

• Utilise a laptop to record labor, complete service reports, and submit warranty reports.

• Refer to service manuals and parts books to retrieve specifications and parts information for repairs.

• Uphold established company values, practices, policies, and procedures consistently.

• Follow and ensure compliance with safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

• Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

• Provide coverage for the supervisor when necessary.

• Train new employees and student interns as required.

• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.

Experience:

Preferred educational background with a degree.
2-5 years of industry experience is desirable.
Working knowledge of agricultural equipment is a plus.
Prior experience in troubleshooting methods is advantageous.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Desirable background in farming or agriculture.
Ability to travel within the region and work with limited supervision.
Proficiency in operating large machinery.
Valid driver's license with a verifiable safe driving history.
Computer literacy.
Capability to effectively present and explain product details to customers.
Ability to drive a vehicle for extended periods.
Capacity to stand for extended periods.
Adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and policies.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
