Sales & Marketing Representative

I am pleased to be working with a leading local business, who operate nationwide within the food industry looking for a proactive, confident, phone-first individual, confident in sales but also creative with marketing flair to join their team.

Responsibilities:
• Proactively seek out new customers and business opportunities to expand client base and increase revenue.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction a.
• Assist in the creation and management of promotional materials, particularly through social media platforms and brainstorming marketing ideas.
• Coordinate and arrange the delivery of product samples to potential and existing customers.
• Attend relevant trade shows to represent products and network with potential client.
• Visit clients and present products, emphasising their unique features and benefits.
• Provide support in responding to customer queries and addressing any complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Skills:
• Previous experience in Sales and Marketing, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the food service trade.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for creating and maintaining sales materials and reports.
• Strong social media marketing skills to effectively promote products and engage with customers online.
• A confident and cheerful personality, with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Possession of a full clean driving license and the ability to travel within the UK.

Further information:
• Hours: 16-20 hours per week (hours are flexible and so are the working days)
• Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 pro rata (dependent on experience).
