This position offers a unique opportunity to delve into our clients site's Quality Management System while providing essential support to internal and external customers. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with government regulations, BRCGS standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
• Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of BRCGS Preventive Controls Programs, providing support to oPRP Programs, training, coaching, and leading cross-functional initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary document controller, administering effective Document Control systems in compliance with BRCGS and regulatory requirements.
• Coach various departments on BRCGS and regulatory audit preparation and expectations, including training, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate and conduct internal inspections/audits, ensuring compliance with GMP, oPRP Programs, HACCP, and other quality management systems.
• Actively participate in problem-solving situations related to food safety and product quality, updating relevant documentation and internal policies.
• Provide support for the Supplier Approval and Complaint Management Program.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
Quality Control
• Perform QC tests based on my clients methods, calculations, and troubleshoot analytical results with the support of QC scientists.
• Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Interpret scientific data and effectively communicate the impact of results on the business.
Education/Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a science or food-related discipline, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing quality or manufacturing roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead change within an organization.
• Prior experience in regulatory compliance, GMP, HACCP, or food safety, ideally with knowledge of the BRCGS standard.
• QC/analytical laboratory experience, particularly with GC/HPLC/UPLC/MS, is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a bias for action.
• Strong problem-solving skills, quantitative analysis, and strategic planning abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of working with individuals of varying experience and educational backgrounds.
• Proficiency in operating computers and related information/knowledge-based software.
