Compass Point Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a manufacturer of chemicals while they continue to grow, for an experience QC Chemist/Laboratory Supervisor.

About the job

Are you a detail-oriented chemist with exceptional leadership skills?

In this critical role, you will oversee the daily operations of the quality control laboratory, ensuring the accuracy, reliability and timeliness of test results.

You will lead a team of lab technicians to develop and implement testing protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Your expertise will support the production of high-quality products by monitoring laboratory performance, troubleshooting issues and maintaining rigorous documentation.

About you
• Do you have experience in managing technicians and motivating them to excel in their area of work?
• Can you contribute to new business initiatives, and projects, review and communicate the impact on quality activities related to the QC laboratory?
• Have you got experience within the chemical industry?
• Are you able to be flexible, adaptable and committed?

In return, you will receive a salary of circa £31,000 (experience dependant), within a Mon-Fri role.
