We are looking for Production operatives / Technicians to join a growing business based in Bury St Edmund that manufacture instrumentation products for long term monitoring.
Your working hours will be 0830am to 1700pm. Some weekend and eveing overtime may be available also with flexi time working policy in place as well!
Starting rate of £10.50 but once a permanent contract has been offered a pay matrix is issued in offered to have the chance to progress!
Main duties:
- Assemble products by following instructions to a high standard.
- Maintain and keep a clean work space.
- Test, record and understand readings to ensure product is working correctly.
- Prepare cables and solder them to sensors.
- Work with other members of the team to build effective internal relationships.
- Keep up with training and new developments within the role.
You must:
- Be computer literate.
- Have a keen eye for detail and be calm under pressure.
- Be flexible and enthuastic.
Desirables but not essential:
- A good academic record.
- Electrical or electronic assembly background
- Soldering experience.
