Are you a Production Operative that enjoys working with large hands-on bulky products?
If yes, please read on...
As a key member of a dedicated team of Production Operatives within your new Thetford based company, your job will hold some variation & will suit you as a logical self-starter, the product that you will be making is bulky & heavy - working within your new team you will be making a specialist bespoke tailor-made product to customer specification. This role uses machinery but also relies heavily upon the ability to plan, setting up workspace and equipment to suit needs of customer product.
As well as working on site, you will also have opportunities to visit sites where the product you make is used & you will install, adjust & repair as required.
Some experience of counterbalance forklift, vulcanization & adhesives would be useful but not essential, salary will be dependent on relevant experience. This is a permanent Job with a base salary of up to £27,000 per year. Due to ever increasing demands your new company is likely to double its workforce over the next few years meaning career growth prospects are a real possibility.
Your basic working hours will be Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm, overtime is paid at x1.5, unless it is a Sunday where double time is paid. There is also option to be on call if you wish to increase your salary further.
Do you have? -
•Ability to work independently unsupervised.
•Good level of English, Maths & common sense.
•Own transport.
•Previous production experience.
•Previous machine use within a production setting.
•Exposure to vulcanization & adhesive - useful but not essential.
This permanent job is easily commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Brandon, Mildenhall, Diss.
