Procurement Manager (Part-Time)
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Office based

We are delighted to be supporting a Bury St Edmunds design and manufacturing business, in their search for a Procurement Manager on a part time basis, to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the purchasing and supply chain process with previous experience in a similar role.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

•Manage and develop relationships with key partners, suppliers and sub-contractors and leveraging these to ensure quality and cost of materials is optimized
•Regularly investigate alternative raw material sources to ensure the business is working with the best available suppliers and sub-contractors
•Draft, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors as and when required
•Liaise with internal departments regarding projects and ensuring raw materials and components are available when required
•Identify and manage stock levels ensuring the appropriate levels of stock are maintained as per business requirements and targets.
•Ensuring budgets are managed accordingly
•Support the implementation of a new MRP system

To be considered for this opportunity, previous experience in a procurement, purchasing or similar is essential along with an excellent ability to stay within budget and manage stock levels. Experience using MRP systems is essential.

You will need to be a friendly and collaborative individual with a confident and committed attitude! You will become an integral part of the business, with the full support to Directors in your role.

•Office based only
•Circa Salary - £35,000 (Pro Rata for hours agreed)
