Job Title: Press Brake Operator / Setter

Salary: £30,000 per annum

We're working with a well-established manufacturer in the Needham Market area who is looking for a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator / Setter to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in metal fabrication who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake machines to meet job specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
Select appropriate tooling and set machines correctly for each task
Carry out routine quality checks to ensure parts meet the required standards
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator and/or Setter
Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
Ability to read and work from technical drawings and plans
Confident using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
Awareness of health & safety practices in a workshop environment
