They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of processing multiple monthly payrolls.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and based in the company's office on the outskirts of Newmarket, as the Payroll Supervisor you will be responsible for:
Calculating and running of monthly hourly paid payroll of 300-350 employees and monthly salaries of 20 staff
Submitting monthly and statutory year end documentation and p60s to meet HMRC deadlines
Calculating Tax/NI deductions and reconciling with HMRC
Processing all statutory payments as appropriate eg. SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP
Processing and reconciling AEO deductions and payment
Submitting and calculation of P11d benefits and returns
Responsibility of auto-enrolment pension in liaison with pension providers
Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes on the HR and scheduling system
Maintaining occupational sick schemes and inputting, running and validating absence management
Maintaining awareness of current regulations in order to issue accurate pension documentation to employees
Providing advice to directors, management and staff on all payroll related issues
Providing costing information to general ledger
The ideal candidate for this Payroll Supervisor role will have relevant experience of processing multiple monthly payrolls. You'll also need experience of using Sage 50 payroll.
