Compass Point have partnered with a leading equipment manufacturer in their search for a Parts Sales Controller. Due to continued growth, this newly created role has become available in their small and dynamic Customer Support team.

Core duties include:

  • Key contact point for the receipt of customer / distributor parts sales orders whether they be internal, phone or email requests
  • Lead role for dealing with customer parts quotations.
  • Orders / Quotes and customer enquiries to be dealt with in a timely / professional manner.
  • All orders to be processed in line with the approved company operating procedures and entered onto CRM at the earliest opportunity.
  • Keep customers / distributors updated on order status, in relation to part shipped and back orders.
  • All parts to be ordered through MRP including new / special parts. Where needed new parts to be created on the system with correct technical description
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with setting reorder levels on key stock items as parts sales demands rise and fall
  • To field technical parts queries and where appropriate seek support from the service team and workshop manager to deal with them promptly.
  • Process and manage warranty returns with the customer, sales and service team as required

Ideally applicants will have a technical industry background and some understanding of engineering. More important is first class organisational skills and a customer first attitude.
