An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established business outskirt of Bury St. Edmund as a Mill Operator.

Responsibilities:

Operating two flour mills in a 24-hour/365-day operation.
Ensuring the production of quality flour within specified standards.
Ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations and relevant programs (e.g., HACCP), along with maintaining supporting documentation.
Always Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Loading flour tankers as required.
Collaborating with other departments as needed.
Performing all duties according to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Required to work 12-hour pattern shifts.
Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is mandatory.
Prior experience in a similar setting is advantageous; however, training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
A good level of physical fitness is required.

The package includes - permanent employment with a starting salary of £30,000 per year + an increase after 6 months of probation, a 12-hour shift pattern inclusive of days and nights with overtime available.
