MIG Welder with ref. J34995

Compass Point is partnering with a leading manufacturer of agriculture machinery in their search for an additional MIG welder to join the team. They have an enviable order book and offer prospective candidates real stability and long term career prospects. Hours are 40 per week (8.00am to 5.00pm) with option for overtime of which there is plenty available (time and a quarter). Pay is constantly reviewed and very much above market rate.

This position would suit an experienced MIG Welder with a background in manufacturing/production environments within agricultural machinery or heavy plant assembly.

Ideally you will demonstrate 2 years plus within a MIG Welding position.

MIG Welder main duties:

Welding on various machinery and agricultural equipment
Ability to follow directions with attention to detail
Quality checking of welds
Working to a weekly/daily schedule
Working to the highest levels of health and safety

MIG Welder desired skills and experience:

Previous MIG Welding experience essential ideally within agricultural or large-scale machinery
Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings
Knowledge of welding both light and mild steel
Be self-sufficient and highly motivated with excellent communication skills
High levels of concentration
Excellent attention to detail
