I am excited to be working with a local charitable organisation in their search for a Membership and Administrative Assistant who will be required to work as part of a small team.

Based on the outskirts of Newmarket, this forward-thinking organisation has seen significant growth and modernisation over the last few years. It is a highly regarded authority representing the industry at the highest level.

Main Responsibilities include:

•Answering the phones and emails. Dealing with day to day enquiries
•Administering the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Course/Meetings
To include:
•Registering delegates for Congress and Events
•Maintaining delegate lists
•Organising delegate communications
•Organising CPD course notes
•Creating and formatting of courses on the Learning Management System (LMS)
•Updating data on the CRM system
•Supporting the members with various queries, i.e. technical issues, credit control, event bookings and member renewals
•Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies
•Sorting and distributing incoming post. Organising and sending outgoing post
•Administrating and managing the online retail of the bookshop, processing and despatch
•Support a diverse and busy team, providing further administrative assistance throughout the organisation, as required
•Help to ensure that the office runs smoothly.

Required Attributes:
•Sound administrative skills
•Accuracy in data input essential
•Proven experience of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Knowledge of database packages and learning platforms advantageous
•Problem solving is a desirable skill
•Ability to plan and prioritise a busy work schedule
•Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt readily
•Ability to work effectively, both independently and with others
•Able to communicate effectively with a range of people, both within and outside the organisation

Additional Information:
•Start date Mid July 2021 (Negotiable)
•Based on the outskirts of Newmarket
•Hours are full time initially some office working for training with a possibility of working from home, until such time as you are able to return to the office
•Salary £18,000-£20,000
•Full Training provided
•Interviews will be conducted via Teams
