Management Accountant with ref. J36304

An exciting engineering firm in Stowmarket is experiencing an exciting phase of expansion and is currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis!

Ideally, they are looking for an accomplished Management Accountant, preferably fully qualified or nearing completion, with a background in Manufacturing. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the finance department
• Reviewing monthly management accounts and providing essential management information.
• Compiling the annual audit pack and acting as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Managing cash flow, including forecasting and reporting.
• Preparing and submitting Quarterly VAT returns.
• Crafting annual forecasts and conducting ongoing performance evaluations.
• Ensuring timely completion of monthly sales invoicing and subsequent reconciliations.
• Presenting monthly department activity reports to the board of directors.
