We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client' team as a Junior Production Manager in the food industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to the production process of high-quality meat products.

The Junior Production Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient operations, maintain product quality standards, and uphold safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Production Oversight: Assist in overseeing daily production operations, including scheduling, coordinating staff, and monitoring production processes to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Take proactive measures to address any quality issues that arise during production.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation in production operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards or violations promptly.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the production team.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production reports, inventory logs, and quality assurance records. Generate regular reports on production performance and key metrics for management review.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, in the food industry.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
