We're actively searching for a Junior Inspector to join our Engineering team based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The ideal candidate should already possess a technical background, whether gained through academic pursuits or other means. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kickstart a career in the engineering field, providing valuable hands-on experience and knowledge.
To achieve a comprehensive understanding and develop versatility across all inspection processes, including:
- Dimensional Inspection
- Visual Inspection
- Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
- Liquid Penetrant inspection
- Magnetic Particle Testing
- Calibration of Measuring Equipment
- Part Marking
Training will include:
• Understanding of Engineering Drawings along with associated Geometrical Tolerancing
• Operation of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's) and traditional hand-held measuring equipment
• Operation of other equipment required to fulfil tasks as required
• Inspection techniques and procedures
• Raising of reports and associate certification
• The handling and reporting of non-conforming product
