I am working with a reputable and large scale insurance business looking to grow their Bury St Edmunds based team. This role would be perfect for someone with previous proven sales experience in backgrounds such as retail, banking, motor sales as well as a general sales background. The key is that you are ambitious and confident!
This business is offering the opportunity to sit your CII Exams within the first 12 months of joining the business, to become an accredited member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the also offer a number of company benefits such as Perk Box, cycle to work schemes and enhanced holiday.

Main Duties will include:
•Provide comprehensive insurance reviews for personal lines insurances with new and existing clients
•Being pro-active and analytical to maximise all sales opportunities
•Effectively utilise the company's lead management and diary systems
•Manage key relationships that are assigned
•Arrange and attend video meetings
•Provide professional support and advice to customers ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction
•Facilitate all inbound quotation requests
•Manage and control all paperwork required for the client to commence cover
•Liaise with insurers and relevant parties for changes in policy cover etc.
•Ensure all sales administration, diaries, payments, post and queries are dealt with in a professional, timely manner and in line with company guidelines
•Maintain own technical competence
•Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required
•Attend industry related conferences and exhibitions
The successful candidate must have:
•GCSE Mathematics and English
•Desire to achieve targets
•Pro-active and analytical approach
•Excellent sales and customer care skills
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to manage personal workload and meet deadlines
•Ability to work closely and flexibly with other team members
•Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
•Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
•Role is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
•No parking on-site, but off-site parking is available
•£18,000-£25,000 Depending on experience
•Interview Process: 1st & 2nd Stage, In house Test and a Practical Assessment on your sales abilities
•Successful candidate will ideally be able to start ASAP
•Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:15-5:15 and every other Saturdays 8:30- 12noon
