Electrical Engineer with ref. J36395

Our growing client is actively seeking an exceptional full-time Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team just outside of Bury St Edmunds. Renowned for their commitment to quality, our client is eager to welcome an experienced engineer to ensure the seamless operation of their Manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain all site electrical and mechanical equipment to legislative standards, safety, and business requirements.
• Execute reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime, including diagnostics and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proactively carry out machine maintenance as per the PPM schedule.
• Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the site team for implementation.
• Execute planned maintenance tasks safely, cost-effectively, and within agreed standards.

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Engineering Role in a production, manufacturing role within an FMCG environment.
• Strong electromechanical fault-finding ability.
• Enthusiastic about challenges and eager to contribute to building something extraordinary.
• A passion for the pace and excitement of manufacturing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a respectful attitude towards all team members.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Solid electrical capability, preferably qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.

This is a Mon-Fri role, with no later finishes that 6pm so ideal if you're looking to work days only! Please note that our client is based just outside of Bury St Edmunds and your own transport will be required to get to site.

The salary is dependent on your experience and they are looking to interview week commencing the 22nd of July.
