Electrical Assembly Operative with ref. J36674

We are seeking an Electrical Sub Assembler to join our client's team in Haverhill. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

Experience in electrical assembly, machine wiring, or working with electrical components is preferred. As a proactive team member in a busy department, you will have the opportunity to further your career in machine assembly.

Responsibilities:
• Build and assemble electrical control panels and switchgear
• Read and work to engineering drawings and schematics
• Commission drives and motors
• Perform electrical testing of system builds
• Ensure production schedules are met in line with customer demands
• Provide support for improving all aspects of the building process and systems
• Work in a safe manner

Requirements:
• Electrical experience, including panel assembly and wiring from diagrams
• Experience in building switchgear is desirable
• Ability to use hand tools, mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ability to work as part of a small team

This position offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a 39-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an early finish on Fridays.
