Customer Service Executive Norwich

I am delighted to be working for a Norwich based business, in their search for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their small team. This is a pivotal role within the business as you will be first point of contact for customers, meaning you will have a significant influence on future successes and growth, based on your ability to deliver a professional first impression!

To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience working in a similar role, with knowledge of order processing and data entry. You will be required to have excellent attention to detail, due to the nature of the orders received and stock control.

There is an element of Account Management also with this role, as you will look after a number of repeat business clients, so you must be friendly and approachable with a professional and efficient telephone manner.

Your duties will include:

•To receive orders from customers and accurately processes onto SAP system
•Notify the warehouse and transport of all customer, product and delivery requirements to ensure an efficient delivery in line with customer expectations
•To set up new customer accounts on SAP, with agreed credit limits and payment terms
•Dealing courteously and efficiently with potential and existing customer enquiries in terms of sample requests prior to forwarding requests onto the relevant colleague to action
•Any requests from customers / prospects for technical information to be collated and forwarded to the Technical team to action
•Receiving minimal customer complaints, fully investigate the nature of these, ensuring they are passed to the relevant line.
•Action collections and replacement orders where necessary and ensure that all relevant paper work is duly completed and accurate, including the request for credit notes
•Scheduling and arranging of stock transfers from overseas office
•Liaise with key customers for order forecasts on a monthly basis to help with stock management
•Undertake other general duties as required, within the role to ensure the efficient running of the business

Attributes Required:

•Ability to speak and read the French language would be an advantage
•Previous experience in a similar role min. two years customer service experience (essential)
•Excellent IT skills, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, although full training will be given
•Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

Additional Information:

•Hours Monday to Friday 9am-5:30 (40 hours a week)
•Location Based between Diss & Norwich (A140)
• Salary Negotiable depending on experience
•Full Time, Permanent Opportunity

This role is commutable from Diss, Nowich, Ipswich, Snetteron, Attleborough, Beccles, East Harling, Eye and other surrounding villages.
