Customer Service Coordinator

I am delighted to be supporting a local Bury St Edmunds business in their search for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their busy team!

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and manage a portfolio of customer accounts and to ensure that all sales orders and account queries are processed promptly, accurately and efficiently and that the service provided delivers on customer expectations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

•Process all orders received promptly with attention to any special instructions, deals or promotions.
•Ensure that all orders transmitted by Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) have been thoroughly examined to eliminate potential inaccuracies or amendments.
•Inspect and prioritise incoming promotions, contracts and special deals to ensure that they are processed accurately and timely
•Directly liaise with customers as required to establish, maintain and develop positive working relationships
•To process all outstanding debits/credits.
•Respond to customer queries and provide a satisfactory conclusion for both the customer and the Company.
•Liaise with hauliers to organise or rearrange delivery of customer orders, investigate complaints or other haulier related matters.
•Ensure that all paperwork is up-to-date, filed and documented in accordance with current working practice.
•To maintain and deliver a competent level of cover for the reception desk as required
•Perform other ad hoc tasks as might reasonably be requested.

Knowledge & Skills required:

•Previous knowledge or experience of order processing would be advantageous
•Experienced and competent user of micro soft packages and outlook
•Entry level will be considered although you will be required to have some office experience
•Has high attention to detail and/or accurate data entry skills

Additional Information:

•Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
•Option for Hybrid Working
•£18,000-£20,000
•Parking on site
