Commercial Executive - Fresh Food with | Compass Point Recruitment

We are currently working with one of the UK's largest family owned suppliers of fresh fruit, veg and salads to help source them a Commercial Executive.

Reporting in to the Commercial Manager you will have responsibility for;

•Sourcing, pricing, ranging and promotional activity for products in a designated category.
•Monitor and maintain range and performance of those products.
•Monitor effectiveness of promotions and implement changes where necessary.
•Use data and insight from agencies and customers to provide analysis for the category plan and maximise brand profiles.
•Effectively manage our product portfolio within our key customers.
•Develop and maintain progressive relationship with our customers and suppliers.
•Actively seek and develop new customer opportunities.

The ideal person for this role:

•A recent food graduate or someone who has been working in a similar role previously within the food or agri-food sector.
•Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal.
•Understand customer personalities and views.
•Good Negotiation skills
•Take steps to measure customer satisfaction through feedback.
•Identify, Manage and Develop good relationships with outside suppliers and customers to expand the company sales.
•Commercial awareness.
•Empathy and humour
