This position will report into the Senior Commercial Manager and will be to drive sales, manage key accounts, maintain stock and financial accuracy, ensure 100% customer service, whilst enhancing the companies profitability.
The role will require:
•To effectively assist the management of the commercial accounts within both the UK and other European Countries.
•To maintain and develop excellent customer relationships.
•Wherever possible help to develop new customers in the retail, fresh cut and food service sectors.
•To develop / assist development of category plans.
•To develop / assist the development of a sound procurement plan.
•To measure / assist the measurement of performance of sales and profitability reports
•To maintain / assist performance against the company's budget.
•To drive continuous improvement to achieve best value.
•To help develop skills, competencies and professionalism within the team.
•To develop skills, competencies within the Freshware' software package.
The ideal person for this position will :
•Have previous experience within fresh produce at entry level or be a Graduate with a food related degree
•Be willing to work outside immediate remit
•Someone that wants to learn from the ground up and be a succession plan for their employer and themselves
•A team player with leadership qualities
•Excellent telephone manner
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•Full UK Driving licence.
