Leading National Accountancy Practice are seeking an outstanding Audit Senior to join their team.

As part of the Audit team, you will be championed to learn, develop your career and reach your potential!

Working as part of a friendly, dynamic and diverse team, you will be committed to delivering exceptional client service and specifically will be responsible for:

Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of audit assignments, including statutory and CASS audits, for manager or partner review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgement
Identifying risk matters and raising with a manager and/or partner, while exercising judgement within agreed parameters
Actively engaging with senior client staff in order to gain a good understanding of their business and ensure the efficient execution of the audit
Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from the budget then gain a full understanding for the Manager
Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
Supervising, coaching and developing junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office

To be successful in your application, you will be ACA/ACCA/ICAS Qualified or equivalent and possess a working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. You will also have a working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering along with a demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends. You will have experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site.
