PA Assistant/Senior Administrator
Bury St Edmund, Suffolk

We are delighted to be working with a local Bury St Edmunds business who are recruiting for an Assistant PA to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Administration, as well as being a completer finisher! You will be the first point of contact in the business, so it is important you have a confident and courteous telephone manner. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the office and provide support to Directors and other members of the team!

Duties will include:

•Acting as first point of contact within the office
•Dealing with correspondence and phone calls for the office in general
•Meeting and greeting guests
•Assisting Executive Assistant to the Board
•Assisting with new employees' photos, website biographies, signatures and renewing parking permits
•Managing databases.
•Diary management including organising and preparing for meetings, booking travel and accommodation and organising personal appointments
•Completing administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning
•Assisting with emailer updates and Director's LinkedIn accounts
•Assisting with the organising and management of all events including corporate entertainment, monthly corporate lunches, AGMs, charity fundraising, staff parties and social events
•Assisting the Finance Team with admin tasks as required
•Opening and distributing daily post. Franking post at the end of the day
•General housekeeping duties. Clearing and organising the kitchen, reception area and meeting rooms, replenishing kitchen supplies
•Ordering office supplies

Requirements:

•Proven experience in a similar role is required
•Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
•Smart & professional appearance
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
•Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
•Basic knowledge of office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)
•Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
