Are you a skilled Financial Accountant looking for a rewarding opportunity in the thriving property sector? Look no further! A dynamic local Property business, located in the heart of Newmarket, is seeking a permanent, part-time Financial Accountant to join the team.

As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role, collaborating closely with the payroll department and reporting directly to the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of financial tasks, including:

• Managing Payroll
• Handling VAT Returns & Communications with HMRC
• Overseeing Corporate Tax Matters
• Facilitating Pension Contributions
• Conducting Client Account Reconciliation (covering rents, landlord statements, supplier, and landlord payments)
• Performing Business Account & Bank Reconciliations
• Ensuring Compliance with ARLA Propertymark Guidelines and Audit Standards
• Managing Petty Cash Payments

The ideal candidate for this role will hold an AAT qualification, or be part-qualified ACCA, with relevant experience in the Property industry being advantageous but not essential. Proficiency in Xero would also be highly valued.
