Trials Officer with ref. J35278

We are currently working with a leading Agricultural business to recruit a Trials Officer to assist the technical development manager to generate technical information through the delivery and reporting of field, laboratory, greenhouse and third party trials.

The business are market leaders in liquid fertilisers in the UK. They manufacture a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promoters, used nationally and exported internationally.

This role will be based at their trial laboratory but there will be a large proportion of outdoor work during the key field trials recording and harvesting periods, including substantial time spent each week at the dedicated trial site near Cambridge. Professional training will be provided when necessary for using specialised measuring equipment, crop spraying machinery and a camera drone.

Standard working hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with extra hours and weekends expected to work during peak seasons (this is standard for the industry).

PA1/2 Spraying licence would be an advantage but is not essential. This is an ideal role for a Graduate with a view to starting in July.
