Following recent retirement, they are seeking to recruiting a new Supply Chain Manager to take the lead of this important function.

Overseeing a team of 2, the Supply Chain Manager will take the lead on all strategic purchasing for the business. The role could suit an experienced Buyer looking to take their first step up into a managerial role.

Core duties include:

• Responsible for inventory, warehouse, stores and supply chain functions within the business
• Ensure high quality, good value engineering parts and materials are available to meet needs of
machinery production plan and fast-moving spare parts business
• Strategic planning, contract placement and purchase order processing in line with business needs
• Manage an effective, resilient supply chain and strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate fair terms and prices for goods and services in line with company policies
• Manage, mentor and develop the Inventory and Supply Chain team
