Stores Operative with ref. J34501

Great family owned & managed company based close to Bury St Edmunds is looking for a Stores Operative to work in their busy Production Engineering Stores department. You will also get exposure to other departments if & when they also need a hand.

Ideally you will have used a forklift before however it's not essential at this point. You must however be a quick and precise Operative and able to safely lift bulky items, keeping storage facilities tidy and efficient at all times. Day to day you will be processing stock, picking, packing, stock taking & utilizing stores equipment & vehicles.

Your new company is a leader in manufacturing, however is still family owned and holds a real personal feel, with modern well equipped facilities.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week 8am -5pm.

This position is immediately available with Covid safe interviews available from this week. You will start off working under a temporary contract with a permanent contract offered at three months.

Pay is relative to experience & certification with starting a starting pay rate of between £8.91- £9.50/hr plus pension and holidays. Pay rates are to be reviewed at 6 months or before.

Ideal:-

•Own transport due to Location.
•Previous Warehouse experience.
•Good level of English, Maths and Common sense.
•A self-starter, able to manage own work load.
•Forklift experience.

This Position is easily commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill & Newmarket
