Site Services Engineer with ref. J35469

Compass Point is partnering with a leading Food business in their search for an additional Site Services engineer to join their highly professional engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and receive a tailored training plan to further your engineering skill set.

Working Monday to Friday on a double day shift (6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm), you will gain exposure to all elements of the plant's Facilities while being closely mentored to understand bespoke equipment. There is lots of positive change on site with significant incoming investment from the parent company.

Core duties:

Maintenance of site facilities equipment (boilers /cooling towers / effluent plant / compressors / mechanical and electrical equipment etc.)
Provide technical feedback and analysis on daily issues as they arise
Attend daily meetings as required and drive recommendations and action
Carry out high level static and dynamic maintenance on all equipment.
Input into continuous improvement initiatives.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards at all times.• Assist the Engineering Manager when required with projects
Assist Engineering Manager to ensure site is fully compliant with Safety, Health and Environmental legislation
Control / Management of contractors on site
Coordinate activities in cases of emergencies such as Fire Alarms or Chemical spillages
Communicate effectiveness of repairs
