Maintenance Fitter (Electrical) with ref. J35039

Rare day shift (Monday to Friday) opening within a local site for a global manufacturing group operating in a highly regulated sector. You will be joining a close knit Engineering team of 6 who is committed to high quality work and maintaining complex plant. You will also receive a tailored training programme to ensure you keep up to date with your qualifications.
You will hold an electrical qualification and ideally be apprentice trained. As a minimum you should be conversant with IEE 17th Edition wiring regulations. 18th edition would be highly desirable.
The business is constantly striving to improve and has reached a point where a robust PPM schedule is in place and workload spread evenly amongst the team.

Core duties:

•Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
•Read technical diagrams
•Breakdown investigation and fault finding
•Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices
•Working in confined entry spaces and at height as required
•Covering out of hours breakdowns
•Site facility maintenance
•electrical isolation and safety awareness
•Carry out regular PPM
•Maintaining maintenance records

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm with Overtime available. There is also 25 days holiday (+ bank) and Private medical insurance.
