PA/HR Administrator

We are delighted to be working with an established agricultural organisation based in Bury St Edmunds who are looking to secure an experienced PA / HR Administrator to join their business.

The PA / HR Administrator will provide general PA support to the Managing Director and administrative support for the Executive Team operation (team of 4l). Alongside this, you will also work closely with the HR Manager to support the HR function with administrative duties, such as onboarding paperwork, filing and minute taking.

PA Duties

•Provide daily support including diary management, coordinating and collating all relevant paperwork.
•Set appointments and meetings for the MD as requested including regular 121 meetings and annual appraisals with line managers.
•Collate information, ensuring relevant paperwork, including presentations, are available for meetings.
•Attend meetings, both office and field base and take minutes at meetings when required.
•Responsible for booking travel and accommodation on behalf of the MD.
•To provide a confidential and efficient filing system for the MD.
•Provide assistance on projects, as and when required by the MD.

Executive Team Support

•Arrange agenda's and take minutes for Team Meetings and annual events, such as AGM or Budget Meetings.
•Complete updates to key documents, as directed, such as the risk register.
•Oversee the compilation of Quarterly Reports and the annual Management Report to the Group.
•Put together presentations as directed / required by the Team.
•Any other duties, as requested.

HR Administration

•Draft new starter / onboarding paperwork, general letter writing, as required.
•Ensuring all relevant employee documents, references and ID checks are received on or before 1st day of employment
•Set up new starters on Iris / paper-file and digital backup.
•Draft induction plans.
•Book training as required.
•Ownership of probation, 121 and appraisal cycle, ensuring paperwork is returned on time and in full.
•Minute taking in meetings, as required.
•Deputize for the HR Manager during periods of annual leave / absence.
•Any other duties as requested by the HR Manager.

No direct HR experience is required as this side of the role will be general admin support to HR Manager. PA / EA skills are more essential as training in other areas can be provided.

Additional Information:
•Monday to Friday Full time please note during seasonal times for the business, you may be required to work flexibly with your hours.
•Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
