A very exciting new opportunity has arisen for an NPD Business Partner to join our clients Development Team based in Cambridgeshire.
They are an incredibly exciting place to work, at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution means it's fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding. They work with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe and want people who will do what's right for the business and their customers.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities

Will be responsible for developing new products for the business. These products will be for a range of customers and to suit the various needs. You will be responsible for driving the development of these new products and processes and managing the smooth running of the development process alongside the new process project team. You will also be involved with organising and conducting the appropriate trials and consumer testing where required, and in presenting new and existing concepts internally and to potential customers. All this work needs to be delivered with the support of the Technical, Production, Health & Safety, Marketing, Commercial & Packaging Departments.

Candidate Requirements

•A flexible hands-on approach is always required, playing an integral role within the Development Team.
•Ideally, you will have an enthusiasm for food and can prepare a wide variety of meals.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Creative and innovative thinking and approach understanding of ingredients and nutrition.
•Ability to prioritise, attention to detail, manage own workload, be flexible, cope with demand and achieve deadlines.
•IT literate on all Microsoft packages.
•Good communicator to all levels of staff.
•Passion to exceed internal and external customer expectations.
