Farming Operations Administrator
Chelmsford, Essex

We are delighted to be supporting a large farming and rural property business, based in Chelmsford, who are seeking someone to join their Operations Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Agriculture and Farming and would like to progress this into a career. You will be joining a friendly, relaxed but supportive team who will provide full training and development.

The purpose of this role is to support the Operations Team in the overall management of records and producing reports. This is a great opportunity for someone confident, organised and able to work to their own initiative whilst prioritizing tasks. No two days are the same and you will have a varied and busy workload.

To be considered for this role you will need to have an understanding of the Agricultural sector, whether this is a direct link, previous experience working in the industry, educated at an agricultural university or college or even just a family link! It is essential you have a passion for the industry, as it will strengthen your success in the role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•Maintaining and reconciling records
•Producing reports and analysis
•Producing maps on Landapp and maintaining accurate ownership records
•Preparing appraisals and presentations for investor meetings
•Supporting the Operations team in wider administrative tasks

Skills and Experience Required:

•Understanding/Background of agriculture
•Experience using Landapp or other mapping software.
•Organised, Proactive, Confident, can manage their own workload and use their own initiative
•Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
•Must have strong competency in excel
•Good communication skills both verbally and written
•Team player
•Full driving licence with your own transport

Additional Information:

•Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours
•Location: Chelmsford, Essex - Full Driving Licence required due to the nature of the role and occasional visits to Farms
•Salary: £28,000 - £33,000
•Permanent, Full Time
•Reporting to Managing Director
•Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Discretionary Christmas Bonus, Annual Salary Reviews
