Are you an experienced Cleaning Supervisor looking to join a Hygiene Team for a leading food business?
Our client offers an exciting place to work at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution, working with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe. They have been experiencing exponential growth and industry-leading innovation with a state-of-the-art brand-new optical grader, which is one of the largest in Europe. Role Requirements & Responsibilities

•To ensure excellent hygiene standards are met throughout the factory providing a good level of detailed cleaning work. High standards are to be expected.

•Monitor and report chemical effectiveness or any issues of concern.
•Ensure that provisions such as PPE and tools are well maintained and used in the correct manner.
•Food safety concerns must be raised to your Line Manager immediately.
•Deputise for the Hygiene Team Leader in their absence
•Waste is to be disposed of in accordance with training, ensuring segregation between waste materials is maintained.

Core Responsibilities
•Providing training and supervising a Team of Hygiene Operatives.
•Ensuring cleaning duties are performed in a timely fashion and in full.
•Maintaining relevant cleaning documentation such as daily cleaning sign-off and periodical cleaning records.
•Ensuring the Team work to the Safe Working Procedures and monitoring the workplace to prevent unsafe acts and behaviour.
•Following reporting lines and Manager's instructions to ensure the proper level of communication within the immediate and wider Team as necessary.
•Reporting of any accidents and incidents following the channels set by the business.

Specific Responsibilities:
•Ensuring that relevant verification methods are employed to monitor the effectiveness of cleaning and processes. This includes ATP swabs, traditional TVC swabs, and chemical titrations.
•Monitoring standards of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and arranging for the replacement of any garments not fit for purpose.
•Visual inspection audits of the factory areas where hygiene concerns may exist as a result of post-cleaning or where any contamination of the product may occur.
•Working with the Hygiene Manager to ensure that Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs) are maintained to be relevant and up to date with the review.
•Completing task-based risk assessments and writing procedures for new tasks requiring attention.
•Providing cover during sickness or holidays for the Hygiene Operatives.
•Counting and arranging orders of stock items required to meet the business's needs (such as PPE and cleaning chemicals
