DESCRIPTION
The Business Accountant & Analyst reports to the Finance Manager as a support to provide financial, development and delivery of the key strategic UK Business Finance in compliance with regulations. The role will include performance improvement, strategic business planning, and budgeting & forecasting activities.
KEY DUTIES
· Manage and support finance Reporting, Forecast and Budget
· Leading the month end process account reconciliations and preparation analysis
· Manage and support Business developments and special projects
· Support Ad hoc finance requests from the Headquarter and other Finance Functions
· Define and support management of Business audit processes
· Create lean processes and procedures
· Identify areas of improvement and implement change
· Support Accounting process alignments amongst groups within the business
· Acting senior member of the finance team
· Build strong intercompany working relationships
· Take responsibility to Coach, Train and Support' finance team members
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Analytical Agility: highly analytical with the capability to convert data into business intelligence while staying focused on the overall objective.
· Shows an ability to think strategically and plan accordingly.
· Relationship Building experience of developing strong relationships both internally and externally.
· Communication: ability to provide direct, complete and actionable positive and corrective feedback to others. The chosen applicant will be flexible, have great interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in managing and leading teams
· Highly driven, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
Able to take on multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Experience in working for multinational businesses (not essential)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor/master's degree
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Advanced skills in SAP, BI analysis, Excel
