We are delighted to be working with an established, and growing manufacturing business based in Thetford, who are seeking an Account Manager to join their Sales team.

This fast paced, growing business offer a full service to their customers from creating formulations, to manufacturing, filling, storage pick, pack, delivery and compliance. Working with some of the UK's biggest retailers and brand owners, this is an exciting time to be joining this team!

This role will require you to be the internal point of control for all things associated with the relevant customer accounts. Maintaining current customer relationships and following up new customer opportunities. You will also deputise for the Senior Account Manager in their absence to ensure business continuity.

Duties:

•Manage a number of company accounts, ensuring a positive, effective and productive working relationship with each to encourage growth and profitability
•Work closely with the R&D team, Packaging Technologist, Purchasing and the Operational teams on both new projects and existing lines, ensuring projects are delivered on time
•Identifying and rectifying any problems related to existing or potential orders and/or customers
•Work with other departments to develop product costing/quoting, ensuring it meets the needs of both the business and the customer
•To meet with customers as and when necessary to discuss current and prospective business
•Deliver sales targets and associated key performance indicators (KPIs)
•Explore potential new market opportunities with key clients
•Attend the morning management meeting when necessary, when the Senior Account Manager is unavailable
•Working closely with the warehouse to ensure delivery to customers' requests are met
•Working with customers to agree annual forecasts

Key Knowledge:

•Experience of B2B customer sales
•Proven experience of successfully creating, developing and managing relationships with key accounts
•Strong relationship building skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
•Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently liaise with people across all levels of the business
•Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task when appropriate
•Good negotiation skills
•Commercially aware

Additional Information:

•Location: Thetford, Norfolk
•Hours: Monday to Friday Full Time
•Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Depending on experience
•Free Parking on site
