Payroll Administrator and Credit Controller
Outskirts of Thetford

Local organisation based on the outskirts of Thetford are seeking an experienced Payroll and Credit Control candidate to join their team.

Working in a busy Finance department, you will be responsible for various duties including:

Processing payroll on weekly basis for circa 400 staff
Processing payroll on monthly basis for circa 100 staff over two companies
P11d completion across group for relevant staff
HMRC RTI Submissions, including year-end returns and P60s for all group companies
Issuing payslips via online services and paper versions
Completing month end payroll journals for processing
Maintaining analysis of hours worked by direct staff
Maintaining monthly reconciliations of payroll control accounts on accounts package
Weekly/Monthly Pension submissions
Chasing outstanding debt
Sales invoicing
Petty Cash
Inputting purchase invoices
Reconciliations of month end balance sheet accounts

To be successful in your application, you will need to have previous payroll experience to include a detailed understanding of current payroll legislation. You will be conversant with Sage 200 and Sage Payroll and have a working knowledge of income tax. Good Excel skills are required along with the ability to relate to and engage with all levels of employees, HRMC, Customers, Suppliers and Auditors.
