Local organisation based in Mildenhall are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis working circa 5-5.5 hours per day between 10am and 5pm, Monday - Thursday.
Joining an established team of 4, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for:
Maintaining Balance Sheet Reconciliation spreadsheets
Maintaining Hire and Lease Contract records
Dealing with Accruals and Prepayments
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and calculating depreciation
Setting up and posting monthly journals
Prepare quarterly VAT Returns for HMRC
Maintaining customer payment analysis report
Producing weekly Sales Order analysis and monthly cost of sales reports
Assist with cashflow forecast and financial audits
Holiday cover for Sales and Purchase Ledgers
To be successful in your application you will have experience of all the above duties, along with good Excel skills. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or be qualified by experience. You will be a team player with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and have great communication skills.
This role is part-time and is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Newmarket, Thetford, Brandon and all surrounding villages.
