The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a legal firm, ideally with conveyancing experience. You will be required to have efficient typing skills and be able to work within a team.
You will be joining a close knit, friendly team in a relaxed and supportive environment!
•To provide secretarial support and assistance to the fee-earner under supervision with the full range of conveyancing procedures from commencement to finish
•To deal with clients, mortgagees, estate agents, brokers and other Solicitors by phone, in person and by correspondence (including e-mail) as necessary to keep them updated of all progress/changes within each transaction/matter
•To provide general secretarial/administrative support to the fee earner to include typing of audio dictation as and when required
•To prepare documents and correspondence including preparing mail and enclosures
•Copying and filing
•Opening and closing files
•Dealing with credit and debit balances and ledger reviews
•Making appointments when required to do so
•Excellent IT skills in Windows 2019 and Office 2016/365 essential (Proclaim desirable)
•Good interpersonal skills
•Understanding of property sales and purchases preferable.
•Salary: £10-£11ph (depending on experience)
•Location: Braintree, Essex
•Hours: 2 days per week - Monday and Tuesday 9am 5:30pm
•Start Date: As soon as possible
•This is an office based role, with no options for home working
